APPROACH 

David retired from active sales in April 2022, but he firmly believes that there is no substitute for Industrial grade, practitioner level credentials in order to develop the skills required to navigate today’s complex selling environment. The old adage “ Those who can’t do teach” was probably never more true than it is in sales development. A small % of true sales practitioners are currently providing sales development. David qualifies as a seasoned, consistent, and successful sales performer in every sense of the word. His development approach is based on the experience derived from 30+ years of strategic selling. Numerous examples of real-world selling are embedded throughout the “Sales Crush Bootcamp”. As David leverages his experience to strengthen sales “Efficiency” and “Effectiveness” he seeks to ”Challenge”, “Educate”, “Motivate” and “Inspire” participants to reach their full potential as sales professionals. David’s goal is to have each participant leave the program with a minimum of 10 what David refers to as “Ahah” moments. (That moment when the “proverbial” light switches on and the participants realizes this concept, strategy, or tactic is something that he/she can immediately apply). Participants will be encouraged to list those “Ahah” moments on sticky notes and attach them at a central location during breaks. This will allow participants to capture every single idea via a picture of the entire collage at the end of the session. David also believes that “Proximity” is core to effective sales development. As a result, Accel Selling programs will be limited to a maximum of 15 participants, which will allow David to engage directly with each participant.  

SALES CRUSH BOOTCAMP 

Accel Selling’s initial offering is a 1 day “Sales Crush Bootcamp”. This program will explore what David’s 30 years of experience has taught him are the 3 pillars of sales efficiency and effectiveness;  Attitude, Audience and Actions. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of (1) How your psychological approach to selling Defines your attitude, (2) How you approach the people you to sell to, sell with and sell thru, Develops your understanding of the critical audiences you must support, (3) How your understanding of the sales process Drives your actions and outcomes.  

This program will leverage case studies, storytelling and some of the best concepts, strategies and tactics that David has compiled during his sales career. This program will also be methodology agnostic, although you will see impactful ideas from numerous methodologies highlighted during the program. 

FRONTLINE SALES LEADER BOOTCAMP 

This “Sales Crush” Bootcamp will be followed by ½ sales leader bootcamp. This bootcamp will focus on the five core areas of effective frontline sales leadership.
